In 2021, founder, Sara Fite, lost her brother, Brian Hamilton, to suicide at the age of 43. 

In 2022, she started Drive Hope in Brian's memory to help raise funds and bring awareness to suicide prevention. Over the last few years the event has grown and changed, but the mission remains the same. Drive Hope is now working with others to organize and plan events. This is incredibly difficult, emotional and many times overwhelming work; the team works to support those trying to put grief aside to make a difference.

Since it's start, Drive Hope has raised over $14,000 for Ohio Suicide Prevention Foundation!
